A: Lumos Data Rescuer can recover files in Windows 2000 (SP4), Windows XP HOME/PRO (SP2) and Windows Vista.

A: Yes.

Q4. How to recover files if I have format my system partition?
A: To recover system partition, please plug your hard disk to another computer, and install Lumos Data Rescuer on that computer and then recover the formatted system partition.

Q5. Why I get more than one file when I recover a specified file?
A: This occurs when more than one position match with the file you specified. You can use Smart Analyse function to get most accurate one.

Q6. Why I cann't recover my file(s) successfully?
A: When you get files deleted by accident, you should stop change any file in the drive from which your delete those file. Or new files saved to this drive may overwrite part or all data position of the deleted files, so you cannot get it back via Lumos Data Rescuer.

Q7. Why a large files is difficult to recover?
A: Data of a large files will be stored in different position, so it is hard to fully recover.

Q8. If I format a drive in full mode, can Lumos Data Rescuer recover files from it for me?
A: Format a drive in full mode, all sectors of this drive will be erased, so Lumos Data Rescuer cannot recover any file from it. This function only recover files from quick format.
